Description
Generally we use W3 in place of this product in the lab. W2, with different additives can be used to sow, respread or replate a very wide range of orchid genera. W2 with banana pulp added at 60 grams perl litre is suited to germinate and replate: Dendrobium, Cattleya alliance, various Oncidium, Miltonia / Oncidium and related genera. It may also be used to germinate and grow Cymbidium, Sarcochilus, Disa (uniflora and hybrids) and Masdevallia. Always use banana pulp at 60g/L for both sowing and replating. Germination may be enhanced by adding coconut water at 30–60ml/L from fresh, unspoiled coconuts.
