Description
A flask of 6 Dendrobium tetragonum subsp. giganteum, a very attractive epiphytic species from Far North Queensland. It’s understood this cross should have nice red markings on the flowers, a highly desirable trait in this subspecies. Plants are best grown on mounts, such as black tree fern, but they can be grown in pots. The pendulous growth habit makes them somewhat unnatural looking in pots however. They like good light, but can be burnt in extreme heat over summer, depending on your climate. The flower photo is indicative only, and not of this exact form.
