Description
A flask of 5-10 plants of flowering sized plants of Gastrochilus retrocallus, a cool to warm growing miniature epiphyte from montane forests in Taiwan. The flowers are quite intricate with a very pleasant fragrance. The plants employ sexual deception to lure unsuspecting male beetles to pollinate them. They can be growing in pots or mounts. If you choose a pot, be aware of the pendulous habit of the growths and flowers when potting them up. Plants need frequent waterings and aren’t particularly fond of temperatures near 40°C.
