Description
A flask of Pterostytis cucullata ‘Coralta’ x same with at least 20+ partially dormant tubers. A large, spring flowering green hood from South Australia. Also found in other states. This species is unusual in that it has a very short dormancy from mid summer. You should use an open free draining mix that stays damp but not soaking wet. As with many Pterostylis, they benefit from regular application of weak fertiliser, particularly early in the season. Flowering is from September-October.
